Community Kickstart Grant Project

Durango Ridge Ranch Ambassadors Nancy Thale, Carol Lindvall, and Tracy Phillips worked hard again this year to make DRR a fire adapted community. They received a WAP Kickstart Grant and organized community work days which felled 75 trees in their neighborhood.

All the felled trees were donated to ONEness (Oneness Needs Everyone) a great new nonprofit 501(c)3 wood sharing organization. ONEness picked up all the trees, cut, and chopped them. They donate wood to those in need who rely on wood for heat. If you have wood to donate, Brian and Greg have the resources to pick it up or will gladly accept the wood at their Bayfield ranch.
