Montezuma County CWPP Update

The Montezuma County Ambassador Meeting on December 13th, 2022 focused on updating the Montezuma County Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP). We were joined by James Dietrich from Montezuma County Natural Resources Department to review the new Montezuma County CWPP. James Dietrich, WAP, and the community came together to coordinate the CWPP update, a process which relies on local input and cooperation from the community and it’s leaders. James lead the discussion which involved communicating current challenges, new goals and strategies, maps, and more. Below is the recording of that meeting and the slide show which are a prime example of the process of updating a CWPP.
